Tamil Nadu Premier League

The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a professional T20 cricket league established by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) in 2016. It was created to nurture and showcase local talent from Tamil Nadu, providing young and emerging cricketers a platform to perform at a competitive level and gain recognition.

TNPL features eight franchise teams, each representing different districts or regions of Tamil Nadu. The tournament is typically held annually and follows a format that includes a round-robin league stage followed by playoffs and a final.
