The Punjab Kings (PBKS), formerly known as Kings XI Punjab, are a professional franchise cricket team based in New Chandigarh, Punjab. They have been a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its inception in 2008. The franchise is jointly owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, and Karan Paul.
PBKS plays its home matches at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, although they have also hosted games in Dharamshala and Indore in previous seasons.
